With thanks to Barbara Wren and the College, I have reproduced here, with
the permission of the College, her introduction to the principles and
philosophy of Dietary Healing.
The underlying principle of natural nutrition is twofold: the body not only
has the power to heal itself but is also unable to work against itself. The
key is to provide the body with the right tools to achieve this. These tools
include a non-challenging diet, water and techniques that support the body's
own healing capacity.
The process of healing is also one of learning and of growth.
The practitioner's role is to enable patients to take control of their own
health. The road to regaining full health and vitality provides freedom of
movement on all levels.
A holistic distance learning course as well as a part-time
practitioner’s one year intensive basic training course and a one year
advanced course is available in the UK (London, Bristol and Glasgow). Please contact
the College directly for details.
