1. How much of an insider are you at the company with which you just interviewed?

Add or subtract points as indicated depending on whether you agree (Yes) or disagree (No).

Prior to the interview, I knew at least one company employee [Yes +1/No -1]

I know a person who is a vendor to or a client of the company [Yes +1/No -1]

I talked with at least two of these people about the job [Yes +3 /No -1]

At least one of these people spoke to the company About Dianna [Yes +6/No -1]

 

For the next four parts, score the indicated number of points for each item you  agree with.

 

2. Did you have a meeting, or did you get interrogated?

We talked about how my skills could solve the manager's problem [+2]

I felt powerful during the interview [+2]

The interviewer made me rather nervous [-1]

5. Did you get a real taste for the job?

Scoring: Add up your points. 28-31: You usually win an offer. 23-27: You need to build more confidence or do more homework. 19-22: You're not controlling your interviews. 15-18: You're going on the wrong interviews. <15: You're waiting for someone to hand you a job.
