Healing via
sound, color and light is an emerging field. Light is actually the fundamental physical basis of the universe;
both color and
sound are harmonics of light. Light, color and sound are vibrations and affect all
other vibrations. The human body is affected and nourished by light, color
and sound which are essentially the same thing. Music and color, for
instance, are harmonics of each other. They are exactly 40 octaves apart.
The
musical note C on the piano is 256 cycles whilst one octave higher (high
C) it is 512. Go up 39 more octaves and double the number every time: you
get the vibratory rate of the color red. So the musical note C and
the color red are an exact harmonic of each other.
Frequency means how many waves go past a point per
second. The musical note C is expressed in cycles per second. Red isn't
expressed in cycles per second because the number is too big. Red is
described as a wavelength of 700 nanometers. Wavelength is the
distance from the peak of one wave to the peak of the next wave.
In other words, everything is made up of electromagnetic energy
vibrating at different frequencies that correspond to color, sound, and light. Energetically, a musical tone
is linked to the vibration of its
related color. That is why the two work so well together in healing. Red
has a frequency of 436,803,079,680,000 oscillations per second. It is just
as much a form of energy as the note high C, which has an oscillation
frequency of 4,096 oscillations per second.
It may not be convenient to listen to the musical
note C all day, but you could wear red - if that were the frequency, or
energy or vibration, that your body happened to need then. Because
the musical note C and the color red are harmonics of each other, they
will both have the same effect. You can also program a note into crystal
or more than one note into a single crystal if more than one frequency is
needed (if you do this, it's best to ensure the crystal touches skin for
optimum healing benefits).
Vital electromagnetic fields that surround and
interpenetrate the human body are filled with vibration and many
frequencies. Just as sound and light are related in harmonic octaves, so
are all the known frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum, including
brain wave activity, all the cells that make up your body, and your
energetic bodies. In other words, various aspects of consciousness all
operating at different levels of awareness.
Biochemical and cellular function can be enhanced with electromagnetic
energy. Every part of the body has an electrical system, for instance, but
we only measure a couple of them, like the heart and brain. Death is
diagnosed by a loss of electricity (the EKG and EEG go flat when the
electricity has stopped flowing). Electricity in a muscle is measured with
the electromyogram or EMG. Death is defined as an absence of electrical
signals.
